For the past few days...

I'm surprised at myself at how I've been neglecting to update my livejournal since my last entry. I guess it's also because our Finals are coming up and I'm spending less and less time with "extra-curricular" activities. Anywho, to just summarize what's been going on with my life:

(1) Another encounter at the gym -- The past few weeks, I've gotten Piglet interested in Shinhwa while megane no onna (glasses-girl) into Fruits Basket. At that time, we didn't have any classes since most of our teachers were most probably preparing for the Intrams. So I visited them at their classroom at the gym. While I was having a good conversation going on with both of them, who... of ALL people, decide to show up. My expression was placid but my heart was going overtime. Eventually, we all had to leave and when Piglet and I were alone, she told me that I was very convincing. There was no sign whatsoever about me feeling anything and she laughed when I told her what I was going through inside.

(2) Intrams week -- College of Commerce won in the Cheerdance and Muse! Ha! In your face, College of Engineering! That's what they get for boo-ing at our representatives all this time. They sure as hell got some nerve. NO surprise that they've got Nursing against them as well. There's been this sort-of feud ever since the 90s.

(3) Mistaken Identity -- It was the birthday of one of my pals whose name is almost similar to mine. Piglet, megane no onna, and ric's_gurl were at the BA classroom and all of a sudden, megane no onna asked out loud, "Isn't it _________'s birthday today?"

Vincent answers, "Yeah! It's (insert my name)'s birthday today!"

Megane no onna peers at him curiously, "Isn't it _____'s?"

Vincent backtracks, "OH YEAH!"

Everyone then starts to tease him. (Note: I was not there at the time.) And then, he turns really red. This is all just a narration from my good friend, Piglet. Why do I call her Piglet? Well, one, she likes to wear pink. And two, she put up the face of Piglet in her friendster when she still had an account.

After she told me the story, I didn't think it had anything to do with anything. It was just a simple mistake, nothing more. But Piglet decided to put it on a bet. If by the end of the fourth year, second semester, if Vincent doesn't make a move, she has to buy me a double-chicken meal from the nearby fastfood store. If he does, then... I have to buy her that value meal. But I'm sure I'll win. I mean, come on... a guy like Vincent to have any interest in me, puh-leese. I don't want any false hopes.

(4) Friendster picture -- So... Intsk_boi actually used Hyesungie's face in his friendster... how assuming can you get! There's SUCH a big difference, yo! And he used to say that Koreans pissed him off and now he's actually downloading mp3s of Bi and Shinhwa. (Hypocrite.)

(5) Intsk_boi and Ric's_gurl -- So this is why he is suddenly interested in anything Korean. As I've said before, Ric's_gurl is our un-ee... and we (Piglet, me, and megane no onna) think he likes her. It's pretty obvious. For one thing, he always asks about how she is and stuff. Second, the sudden interest in Koreans. And third, when she passed paper to him from another classmate, he avoided eye-contact and went red in the face. Can it GET anymore obvious than that? And doesn't he have a girlfriend??? 0_o Tsk.. tsk..
